Waterwell Drilling Overview
Waterwell drilling, both domestic and commercial, employs three different methods of drilling.
- Air Rotary
- Mud Rotary
- Cable Tool
In most cases, a surface casing is set, and then the Drill Dtring is advanced into a water bearing formation below. In some instances, such as loose overburden or fractured formations, casing may have to be advanced to stabilize the hole until a stable bedrock formation is encountered. The drill string is then advanced until a bedrock aquifer is found.
Pinnacle Drilling Products can supply drilling tools for all three methods of drilling. We supply inertia or mig welded drill steel in all common thread types and diameters, as well as all Crossover Subs needed. We carry a full range of Downhole Hammers and bits for the air rotary drill contractor. Inline lubricators (Line Oilers), used for a constant oil supply to the downhole hammer, are also something we offer.
We supply Rotary Tricone Bits, and three wing Drag Bits for both air and mud rotary drilling. For the holes that require casing being advanced through overburden, or fractured formations, we offer a full range of shoe driven Eccentric
Overburden Systems, as well as full face Symmetrix systems in all styles. Cable tool bits can also be supplied on request.
